As the digital world increasingly revolves around attention, data, and paid reach, a new platform from Europe is taking a different path: Orbyz. Founded in 2024 by Viennese entrepreneur Caroline Gager-Palfy, Orbyz is built on sustainability, transparency, and genuine value – without advertising, clickbait, or follower competition.
To mark its first anniversary, Orbyz is launching its app for iOS and Android, reinforcing its mission to redefine digital innovation from Europe – value-driven, ad-free, and community-oriented.
The platform is designed for individuals, companies, organizations, research institutions, and public bodies working on solutions to ecological and social challenges. Topics such as circular economy, mobility transition, biodiversity, fair supply chains, education, gender equality, and many more take center stage. Users from over 20 countries are already active.
From a technological standpoint, Orbyz aligns with the EU’s Digital Services Act. The platform operates entirely without advertising and follows a fair freemium model: the basic version is free, with additional features for professionals and organizations available via subscription.
A key feature is the Impact Navigator, allowing users to customize their personal content feed – following the motto: “Be your own algorithm.” Other features include an event calendar, audio versions of texts, profile patches, and sustainability tools.
“We need digital spaces where ideas can grow and solutions become visible. That’s exactly what Orbyz is,” says founder Caroline Gager-Palfy.
Orbyz is independently funded, registered as an EU trademark, and developed together with experts in digitalization and sustainability. The platform stands for a new generation of social networks – European, responsible, and future-focused.

Quotes for editorial use:
“After 25 years of social media, it’s time for change. We believe technology should empower people, not control them. That’s the responsibility we embrace at Orbyz.”
“We didn’t want yet another feed driven by algorithms – we wanted a place for real exchange, for solutions, and for collective impact.”
“There’s no time left for clickbait. We need spaces where ideas grow, knowledge is shared, and projects gain visibility across borders. That’s what Orbyz is all about.”
